Jersey Shore Council Honors Dr. Salmon ATLANTIC CITY - On
May 10th, Dr. Edward H. Salmon was honored by the Jersey Shore
Council Boy Scouts of America as their 2012 Atlantic County Distinguished
Citizen.

The event was
attended by 264 Boy Scout supporters and raised nearly $100,000 for the Jersey
Shore Council. The Atlantic County
Distinguished Citizen Award is presented annually by the Jersey Shore
Council. The Jersey Shore Council BSA serves
more than 11,000 scouts in Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean, and Burlington counties.
The award is
presented to a person for their service to the people of Atlantic County. Council officials selected Dr. Salmon as the
2012 Recipient in honor of his years as a coach, teacher, elected official and
currently as President of the Next Generation Aviation Research and Technology
Park board. Dr. Salmon was presented with
the award at a dinner at Stockton College’s Seaview Resort.
